My friends,

Rabu and Khamis lepas aku pi Penang, pasai ada business presentation to USM.
On the way ke Penang memang hujan all the way la from KL. Sampai sana kurang
lebih 10.30 pm. Biddu memang dah standby baik punya, siap dgn booking hotel
lagi! Malam tu aku keluar dgn Biddu and Jimmy (alongwith Jimmy's friend).
Kami pekena kat Restoran Kayu nearby the hotel pasai hujan tak berhenti2.
Jimmy pulak actually kena buat delivery of PCs to client dia but manage to
squeeze a bit of his time for me. Thanks man! Kami banyak sembang pasai
macam2 topics ranging from IT, downloads, wrestling, geng2 lama, and of
course, X-rated stuffs.

Lepas pekena apa yg patut, Jimmy pun belah dgn kawan dia. Masa tu dah pukui
1.30 am. Biddu bawak aku pi pusing kat tempat dia kerja. Bukan apa, saja nak
sembang2 kosong but interesting topics for us lah....We called it the nite
(morning actually) at round about 3 am.

Esok tu lepas aku punya presentation, aku ajak Biddu (who else maa...)
lunch. Sebelum tu aku contact la Pa'id sebab dia pun ada kat USM. Dia pulak
puasa so aku decide to visit her at her office. Cun jugak bilik dia. Memang
ada apa yg patut a lady's office would have. Lepas berborak dgn Pa'id, aku n
Biddu celapak pi Gerai Mak Long pekena late lunch. Biddu belanja lagi! Aku
ingat boleh la settle pelan2. Tengok2 dia dah settle awai lagi. Dah banyak
la pulak aku punya buku 3x5 on him.

Lebih kurang pukul 3.30 pm baru aku boleh drive back out of Penang. Next
stop, Ipoh. Aku contact Aminah Kadariah kata aku nak pi jengok husband dia.
Aminah kata elok sangat la pasai Wati (Dr) pun nak mai. Aminah ni dari lepas
sekolah lagi aku tak pernah jumpa dia (22 years) and Wati about 5-6 years
lah. Sampai Ipoh lebihkurang pukul 5.30 pm. Hujan nala punya lobek! Sampai
kat Ipoh Specialist Center (that's where his husband is) tingkat 2 (ICU
ward), Aminah dah tunggu aku. Later aku nampak kelibat Wati. She's also
visiting one of UTP's student baru kena accident. Aminah bawak aku pi tengok
husband dia. The sight, I tell you, is not a good one. He's only 41, used to
be 80 kg, now is at 45 kg. He's in coma now ever since in the ICU for the
past 9 days. The throat and tougue cancer was detected 1 1/2 years ago
(betui la kata Rohani tu), keep up with the kimotherapy since then. Ada
residue (nanah) accumulated in the mouth once in a while that might choked
his saluran pernafasan of which should be consistently be sucked out. During
my short visit pun, the nurse got to advice us to leave the room so that
they can do the proper suction of the residue. My advice, friends, whatever
we want to do, visit ka, bagi duit ka, bertanya khabar ka, SMS ka, hantar
bunga ka, do it FAST! Bukan nak mintak, but the condition says so. One thing
I've learned about Aminah is, she's one tough lady. Dia sembang dgn aku and
Wati for about 2 hours (non stop of course), reminiscing about  the past,
bergelak ketawa as if there's no problem at all. FYI dia ni ada 2 anak
kecik, 5 and 3 years old (sepasang). Aku at times pun terkedu jugak tengok
nasib dia. But hey, I'm sure it's more painful for the actual bahu yg
memikul. Last2 masa aku nak belah tu (about 7.30 pm), dia sempat suruh aku
doakan kat husband dia. Damn, now I'm getting sentimental! I got to see a
face that really appreciates my presence. Guys, she need us more now than
ever before. So I suggest pada sapa yg ada kelapangan tu, buat la apa2 yg
patut.
